In 2019, the Charlotte's Kitchen owner approached me about branding his new venture. Today, the chicken sandwich restaurant has three brick and mortar stores and a food truck. Known for their creative twists on chicken sandwiches—like the fan-favorite Crab Rangoon—people in the Greater Des Moines Iowa Metro can't get enough.

Building the brand from scratch proved to be both an exciting opportunity and rewarding challenge. Drawing inspiration from iconic burger joints, home-cooked comfort food, and the enduring appeal of American fast food, we crafted a clean, simple look that resonated with the brand's identity.
The Menu
Designing a menu is as much about readability and functionality as it is about style. After using the same menus for two years, Charlotte's decided to simplify and streamline their offerings in early 2024. We created a concise, narrative-driven menu that aligned with the natural ordering flow, making it easier for customers to navigate
